You can bring your knees a little apart if this makes it more comfortable for you.<\/li>\n<li>For Shashankasana (Hare) stretch your arms out infront of you like the ears of a hare<\/li>\n<li>For Balasana (child&#8217;s pose) bring the hands back behind the hips in the way that you may see a child or baby sleeping.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Relaxation of the body<\/li>\n<li>Calming the mind<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Contraindications:<\/strong><br \/>\nAs these postures are supposed to be relaxing for the body, if you are finding discomfort or any difficulty in breathing, move to a different position where you can relax.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These postures are resting postures for relaxing the whole body.
